EDIT: My verdict - ( o - o )b Sousuke gets my approval! No table flipping required~! I found it ridiculous how everyone is using Haru x Rin ship as their "logic" for hating him though... For me, I can understand why Sousuke was stingy towards Haru. Here's my reasoning---

*ANIME SPOILER ALERT*: At the end of season 1, there was a relay competition at the regionals. Rei (a member of Iwatobi High School) gave up his spot for Rin (part of Samezuka High School) in order to reunite the childhood friends and to let them swim at their full potential. OBVIOUSLY, since Rin is swimming for a different school, the judges disqualified team Iwatobi for "cheating." This definitely comes with consequences. Without a doubt, cheating leaves a bad reputation. Seeing how Sousuke is very serious about swimming, I'm not surprised he would be mad at Haru. First of all, they broke the rule of having someone from a different school swimming for their team. Second of all, that's his best friend that got involved. Of course he'd be protective of him. It's possible Rin's dream of getting scouted would have ended then and there because of the misconception of him being a cheater. Now, I'm not choosing sides. I personally thought that team relay was beautiful because it demonstrated how close everyone's friendship is (despite the fact that they resorted to that stunt BECAUSE of Rin's melodrama in the first place). Ugh... but seriously. I'm just facepalming how fangirls are saying stuff like, "Sousuke's gonna ruin mah Haru x Rin ship" crap etc. Sorry. I just have to get my opinion out because it's sad how this anime is looked down upon as a GAY romance series without substance just because fangirls are implying false ideas to outside viewers. Now, if he was mad at Haru over something that's spineless and illogical... THEN that'd be something I'd flip tables for.
